Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

CalNForm is made and sold by Beep Group inc., Québec, Canada (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect on calnform.com and through the CalNForm plugin, why, and what you can do about it. We follow Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada’s PIPEDA.

Person in charge of personal information

Danny Malouin, founder of Beep Group inc., is responsible for protecting personal information. Questions, requests or complaints: support@beepgroup.ca.

What we collect

  • Account and order details: name, email address, billing address, what you bought, order history and licence keys.
  • Payment details: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Licence activations: when you activate a licence, the plugin sends us your licence key, the site address, the plugin version and your WordPress and PHP versions. This is how we validate licences and deliver updates.
  • Support requests: what you send us through the support form or by email.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser details in server logs, used for security and fraud prevention.

What we don’t collect

CalNForm runs on your website. Bookings, form entries and calendar data move between your site and your own calendar and meeting providers. They do not pass through our servers. Your Google, Microsoft or Zoho API credentials stay on your site. For your visitors’ data, you are the business in charge, and your own privacy policy applies.

Why we use it

  • To process orders, renewals and refunds, and send receipts.
  • To validate licences and deliver plugin updates.
  • To answer support requests.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
  • To meet our tax and accounting obligations.

We don’t sell your information. We don’t send marketing email unless you opt in.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the store:

  • Stripe for payments.
  • WPMU DEV for website hosting.
  • Google Workspace for email.

These providers may store data outside Québec, including in the United States. We use providers with recognized security practices and only share what they need. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: to keep you logged in, remember your cart and let Stripe detect fraud during checkout. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.

How long we keep it

  • Order and billing records: 6 years, as Canadian tax law requires.
  • Account and licence data: while your account is open.
  • Support messages: up to 3 years after the request is closed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent. You can update most details yourself in your account. For anything else, email support@beepgroup.ca. We reply within 30 days. Some records, like invoices, must be kept by law. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, we’ll notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information.

Changes

We’ll post any change on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be sent by email to customers.
