Licence Terms
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms explain what a CalNForm licence covers. They work together with our Terms of Sale.
The code
CalNForm Lite and CalNForm Pro are released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, like WordPress itself. The GPL governs the code you download.
What the licence key gives you
Your licence key unlocks the services around CalNForm Pro for the length of your licence:
- Automatic plugin updates in your WordPress dashboard.
- Downloads of new versions from your account.
- Email support from our team.
Number of sites
Each licence can be activated on the number of websites included in your plan: 1 for Personal, 5 for Business and unlimited for Agency. A site means one WordPress installation on one domain. You can deactivate a site anytime from the plugin settings or your account and use the activation elsewhere.
Client sites
Agencies and freelancers can activate their licence on sites they build or manage for clients. Support is provided to the licence holder, not to the end client.
Expiry
Licences last one year and renew automatically unless you cancel. When a licence expires, updates and support stop. Renew anytime from your account to get them back.
Not allowed
- Sharing or publishing your licence key.
- Reselling licence keys or access to our update and support services.
- Getting around licence checks to receive updates or support you haven’t paid for.
We may deactivate a licence key that is shared or misused.
The CalNForm name
The GPL covers the code, not our name or logo. Don’t use the CalNForm name or logo in a way that suggests a modified version comes from us.
